About The Author
Derek Muhs is a Canadian entrepreneur who has been working in real estate and health care within Europe and greater China. Derek has also been actively involved in volunteer work for over 20 years. After listing his Bio-tech company on the NASDAQ, Derek transitioned to Human Touch Media, a company that focuses on visual story telling and invests in documentaries and photography. In 2020, Human Touch Media has launched Faces We Love, a series of photography books that capture honest human moments. Derek is the co-curator on the first edition Faces We Love Shanghai, a city he lived in for 13 years. Human Touch Media projects have been featured on Netflix, along with international film and photography festivals including TriBeCa.
