Zombie Cross-stitch

Illustrated by Kristy Kizzee

Everything you need to stitch your brains out!

Every undead heart will be warmed by these gruesome and hilarious cross-stitch projects. Zombie Cross-stitch includes a 64-page book with an overview of basic techniques and instructions for creating a dozen cross-stitch patterns, plus all the materials needed to complete two projects: specialty fabric, an embroidery hoop, two needles, and ten colors of embroidery floss. From baby bibs and pillow covers to office signs and door hangers, this light-hearted kit will inspire crafters to bring their favorite zombies into the land of the living.

Erika Kern has been crafting since she was old enough to hold a needle. She loves crafts, life, pop culture, and sci-fi. Her work has been seen in several magazines and on the website www.craftstylish.com. She currently lives in Bakersfield, California, with her beautiful rescue dog, Grace.

Kristy Kizzee is a native Hoosier. From youth, the performing and visual arts have both had a great influence on her life. Her early years were spent singing and touring in a girls’ choir, followed by a wealth of live theater experiences in children’s and adult productions. As a young girl, she learned embroidery from her babysitter. Art has impacted her life from birth, with the encouragement and support of her parents.
