“Half-Retire is both an easy read and very insightful. I actually read it twice. The first time through was on an airplane and then sitting on a beach in Florida just to get the main ideas. The second time through I read it more methodically and carefully so I could take notes and think about implementation. Probably the biggest ‘aha’ moment for me was when I read the chapter on owner Jenga and fractionalization. It now makes sense to me why I have been unable to successfully delegate certain business functions and hence I keep on working as many hours as I do today. Having said that, I’m starting down the path of owner Jenga and will attempt to fractionalize something soon. Wish me luck! The last few chapters on ‘setting the autopilot’ seem helpful to create the vision of what success looks like in Half-Retirement. I am not even close to there yet, but having a vision for where I am going is helpful. Highly recommend the book to any business owner. I bought ten copies and gave them to other business owners who are friends of mine. Over lunch one day we all decided to do a book study on Half-Retire (also over lunch) once a month for six months.”
