Courtney Acampora holds a B.A. in art history from San Diego State University and a M.A. from the University of Arizona. Currently working in publishing, Courtney's lifelong love for both art and books fused together and gave her the opportunity to write and create engaging books for kids. Courtney lives in San Diego, California. 

Previously an advertising Art Director from England, Alan Batson was trained by the Walt Disney Company and has operated a freelance career for over 25 years, working closely with Disney on Standard, Classic, Pixar, and Disney Jr characters. Alan has also designed characters, merchandise, and publishing on projects for a varied client base including Hanna-Barbera, 20th Century Fox, Star Wars, Warner Bros, BBC, and Hasbro. He currently resides in England and loves to travel, especially in America and Italy (Sicily even better!)
