Dr Mairi Stirling Hill is a medievalist who works on English and French literature from the late Middle Ages. She has a particular interest in women and gender in medieval literature and culture, as well as medieval romance and the myth of King Arthur. She has written on women’s work and roles in medieval law and literature, and in Arthurian legends.
