Q. What is your motto or maxim?

A. "Don't sweat the small stuff!" I'm also a fan of: "Do crazy things with your hair while you still have hair to do it with."

Q. What is your biggest pet peeve?

A. Self-centeredness

Q. What’s your greatest flaw?

A. Just one? Well, I hate talking things out, I'm stubborn and I can be way too competitive.

Q. If you could meet any historical character, who would it be and what would you say to him or her?

A. I'd love to sit down and clink martini glasses with Dorothy Parker at the Algonquin Round Table. I'm guessing Dorothy made a pretty good dinner companion.

I'd like to ask Dottie what inspired her humor over the years and how she decided to leave her literary estate to Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.

Q. What is your greatest achievement?

A. I like accomplishments that take time, so my happiest moments took a lot of sweat - crossing my first marathon finish line, getting to base camp of Mt. Everest, and signing my first book contract.
