My Life in 8 Words

Author Revealed

Q. What is your motto or maxim?

A. If the opportunity to take a relaxing shower presents itself, take it.

Q. Which living person do you most admire?

A. My sister Mimi, for finding and holding onto such strength and courage.

Q. What are your most overused words or phrases?

A. Currently, I'd say my most overused word is yuckadoo (which is a word I stole from my sister) as in, "Charlotte, sweetie, you really need to start remembering to flush the toilet. And, geez, what did your father give you to eat last night? Yuckadoo.”

Q. What do you regret most?

A. Quitting college soccer after only one year of playing.

Q. If you could be anywhere in the world right now, where would you choose to be?

A. I'm incredibly grateful to be filling out an author questionnaire for Simon & Schuster, so I'd be in the exact spot I'm in right now~ in my kitchen, avoiding dish duty and typing out this answer.
