June 09, 2014On May 31, I had the honor and privilege to participate in the Kids Author Carnival at the Jefferson Market branch of the New York Public Library. 37 authors (myself included) got the chance to hang out with around 200 awesome kids and their parental units. We played charades, pictionary, writing round robin, and a whole mess of other awesome activities that connected all of us with the super cool kids who love books enough to guess "James and the Giant Peach" when I'd only drawn a circle. (Seriously, these kids were SUPER smart)
