Isaac Marion

Isaac Marion grew up in the mossy depths of the Pacific Northwest, where he worked as a heating installer, a security guard, and a visitation supervisor for foster children before publishing his debut novel in 2010. Q. What is your motto or maxim?

A. Every experience, good or bad, is a priceless collector's item.

Q. What do you regret most?

A. See my "motto and maxim" answer. Regret is pointless. I never do anything without first deciding to do it based on facts and feelings, and if it doesn't work out how I hoped, oh well, there's another notch on my experience belt.

Q. What is your favorite occupation, when you’re not writing?

A. Assuming you mean occupation as in an activity, not a job, I'd have to say drinking good beer with good people is hard to beat.

Q. What’s your greatest fear?

A. Giant sea monsters lurking under me while I'm swimming. Also, bees.

Q. What 3 personal qualities are most important to you?

A. Strength, truthfulness, and curiosity.
