A. Redecorating. It's good for the body and soul. And you can think out plots too.

A. No, no degrees or diplomas. I left school at 15 and did it my way!

A. Handel, he's been a lifelong inspiration.

A. I look at the vids shelf and love every one equally. From Ghost to Gatsby, they're all unique.

A. My life is a story I'm telling myself.

A. One day at a time.
Q. How would you describe perfect happiness?
A. Happiness for me, is a choice. You can wake up and think, am I going to be happy or sad today? Too simple? Perhaps, but with practice it works.

A. Lady Barbara Skelton - better known as the fabulous 17th century socialite, the Wicked Lady!
Q. What are your most overused words or phrases?
A. "Ducks" - essential to every Rivers novel.

A. Deep sea diver

A. Nuts of all types.

A. The Power of Now by Eckhart Tolle.

A. Keep writing, keep editing. Editing is the hardest but most valuable.
