How do I choose a puzzle?
You can choose puzzles in three main ways. From the main screen, select "List Puzzles" to choose a puzzle, sorting by Author, Title, Level of Difficulty and Degree of Completion.You can also try the "Pick One For Me" button from the main screen, which will take you into a random puzzle. If you are continuing a puzzle, you can choose "Resume Last Puzzle" from the main screen, which will send you to the puzzle you last accessed.

I've finished a puzzle and want to do it again. How do I reset my puzzle?
From the "List Puzzles" menu, select the "completed" button at the bottom, and find the puzzle you want to reset. Tap on the gray check box to the right of the puzzle name, and click Reset to reset the puzzle. The reset puzzle will be cleared of all answers and sent back to the "New" tab of the "List Puzzles" menu.

Do I have to be online to use or play 365 Crosswords?
No. 365 Crosswords is pre-packaged with puzzles in the application. There is no need to download puzzles.

How do I write my answers?
Tapping the pencil icon on the upper left of the screen will bring up a keyboard, with which you can solve the puzzle.

How do I switch directions in the grid?
Tapping on the active square will switch directions between down/across. From the SettingsNavigation menu, you can access additional ways of switching directions.

How do I switch clues?
You can either select a new numbered box, or swipe left/right on the arrowed clue bar to go to/go back to the next/last uncompleted clue.

How do I cheat, or how do I check my answers?
If you have enabled cheating from the Settings menu, you can click on the green arrow button in the upper left of the puzzle screen to check or reveal a letter, a word or the entire grid.

How do I write Rebus (multiple letter) puzzles?
To solve a puzzle with rebuses, first make sure that "Multiple Letter Mode" is turned on from the settings menu. To enter multiple letters in a box, simply double tap that box while the keyboard is up, and enter the letters normally. Click any other box to exit.

What do the "H", "M" and "E" next to the puzzle title mean?
The "H", "M", and "E" icons indicate degree of difficulty (Hard, Medium, Easy).

What are bonus puzzles?
From time to time, Simon & Schuster will add free bonus puzzles to 365 Crosswords, accessible by updating your application through iTunes.
