What is RSS? How do I sign up?

RSS Feeds allow you to get up-to-the-minute news on your favorite Simon & Schuster authors. RSS feeds are automatically updated as new information is posted to our site. To subscribe, just click on the RSS button and select the RSS reader you use, or cut and past the feed URL into your reader. You can view RSS feeds through later versions of Microsoft Outlook, MyYahoo, Google Reader, and dedicated RSS readers such as Newsgator or Bloglines.

We are changing our newsletter program to serve you better. Current subscribers to newsletters, such as History or Mystery, will now receive the new Simon & Schuster Monthly Update, which will include title selections based on your current newsletter preferences as well as the latest book releases, author news, and videos from Simon & Schuster. What is the difference between a Newsletter and an Alert?

A Simon & Schuster Newsletter provides you with information based on your interests. Newsletters are generally sent monthly. Sign up at the Newsletters & Alerts Center. Email Alerts provide you with more frequent updates about a specific author (or series). You can sign up for Alerts on your favorite author's page (or series page).
