A. Pretty darn good. I can't imagine being bored.

A. You pretty much get what you give.

Q. How would you describe perfect happiness?

A. Oh, there's a joyful place that I've come to recognize. It's sun reflecting off a mountain lake, or playing with my dog and forgetting everything else. It's knowing our kids are happy. Knowing I finished something well - especially if it was hard to do. Being with friends and laughing until we can't remember what was funny to begin with. For me, happiness is measured in moments.

Q. What’s your greatest fear?

A. I'm not so thrilled about pain and death.

Q. If you could be anywhere in the world right now, where would you choose to be?

A. Right here, at home. Or France. Or the Arctic Circle. Or. . .

A. Man, I have no idea. Man. Geez, what a question. Man.

A. Regrets are best used in writing books.

Q. If you could acquire any talent, what would it be?

A. I would love to be an accomplished pianist - or can I fly?

A. Physically? I hope it's my smile.

A. I've always loved Anne of Green Gables.

A. I'm not much for villains, but Captain Hook scared me and Golum from the Lord of the Rings haunted me.

A. People who don't do what they say.

A. Exploring back roads.

A. Zoo keeper
