Q. What is your motto or maxim?

A. I learned to dream through reading, learned to create dreams through writing, and learned to develop dreamers through teaching. I shall always be a dreamer. Come dream with me.

A. My parents. And Barack Obama.

Q. What 3 personal qualities are most important to you?

A. Honesty. Positive rather than negative attitude. Genuine, not fake. I appreciate smiles and hugs.

A. I believe in hope and possibility. I'm a powerfully positive person.

Q. With whom in history do you most identify?

A. I'm not sure if identify is the right word, but I have a great deal of respect for Zora Neale Hurston whose writing is brilliant and whose path was difficult.

I envy folks who have time to blog. I’m usually so far behind in answering emails or letters or even washing the dishes that to take the time to sit down and write about what’s going on in my world is a little daunting. But I shall try to be diligent and post something at least once in a while. Filling out all these questions for the website really forced me to think. What’s my greatest flaw?
