Q. What is your motto or maxim?

A. Be Alyosha, not Ivan.

Q. If you could meet any historical character, who would it be and what would you say to him or her?

A. This is a major tossup between Samuel Johnson and Alexander Hamilton. If it were Johnson, I'd just want to tag along for a while and listen in on his conversations. If it were Hamilton, I'd tell him how much I admire him, what an impact he's had on the world, and how he's changed my personal view of history.

Q. If you could acquire any talent, what would it be?

A. I'm going to loosely interpret "talent" as "superpower" and say flying.

Q. What trait is most noticeable about you?

A. I suck at casual chit-chat.

Q. How would you describe perfect happiness?

A. It doesn't exist; only contentment.
