Author Revealed

Q. What is your motto or maxim?

A. Never put off till tomorrow what you can do today

Q. How would you describe perfect happiness?

A. In the middle of a laughing jag, when you know you cannot stop, and your insides hurt, and tears are streaming down your face, and you can't speak for setting it off again, but you can't remember what was so funny in the first place.

Q. What are your 5 favorite songs?

A. Leon Russell "Song For You," Brooks & Dunn "Hillbilly Deluxe," Duffy "Syrup and Honey," Joe Bonamassa "Mountain Time," AC/DC "Back In Black."

Q. What’s your greatest fear?

A. Running out of chocolate is pretty terrifying

Q. If you could meet any historical character, who would it be and what would you say to him or her?

A. I would slip into Scott of the Antarctic's tent, pitched out on the Ross Ice Shelf in late March 1912, and ask his right-hand man, Birdie Bowers, why he doesn't make a dash for the safety of One Ton Camp, only 11 miles away. This is before they all perish from cold and starvation. I would also offer him a hot cup of cocoa, then worry about having upset the time-space continuum and wrecked all of history.
