Owen is the author of the Chronicles of the Imaginarium Geographica series, the creator of the critically acclaimed Starchild graphic novel series, and the author of the Mythworld series of novels. He is also founder and executive director of Coppervale International, a comic book company that also publishes magazines and develops and produces television and film projects. He lives in Arizona. Over at the HERE, THERE BE DRAGONS website, I've begun posting the annotations to the Chronicles of the Imaginarium Geographica, starting with a preamble that explains how the series began. What's going to make these entries interesting reading (hopefully) is the look into process they'll provide. The annotations will show not just how I wove history, and mythology, and pop culture into the stories I write, but how everything in this author's environment contributes in some way to the creative process. There are so many places to read new information about authors and their doings that it's often hard to keep track. Harder still is finding a reason to bookmark another site about any author's books, unless the content being provided is both interesting and unique.
