My Life in 8 Words

Author Revealed

Q. What is your motto or maxim?

A. A paraphrase of something I once heard: As you go the way of life, you will see a great chasm. Jump. It is not as wide as you think.

Q. With whom in history do you most identify?

A. Not one in particular, but people like Churchill who have overcome the insurmountable despite endless setbacks and great odds.

Q. What do you regret most?

A. Not doing more with my life, earlier and faster.

Q. If you could be anywhere in the world right now, where would you choose to be?

A. Too many. I like the Bay Area in California; France on warm days; many places in Asia; and the next place I plan to visit.

Q. Who is your favorite fictional hero?

A. Limiting myself to the characters of deceased authors, I'd say Jean Valjean (in the book).
