My Life in 8 Words

Author Revealed

Q. What is your motto or maxim?

A. A paraphrase of something I once heard: As you go the way of life, you will see a great chasm. Jump. It is not as wide as you think.

Q. What is your favorite occupation, when you’re not writing?

A. Traveling, whether for a day or a week.

Q. How would you describe perfect happiness?

A. Finding, and staying in, the right frame of mind. For me this involves two things: learning to become comfortable with silence, and understanding the grander underpinnings of having the right attitude about life.

Q. What trait is most noticeable about you?

A. After this it may be my inability to answer questionnaires.

Q. What’s your fantasy profession?

A. Writing better and faster.
